A former instructor at the University of Florida, Jacksonville University and the University of Central Florida, Lotz considers himself primarily a draftsman. His drawings are filled with symbols inspired by the natural world, Eastern Theosophy and his own subconscious, as promoted by the writings of Carl Jung.
