Born and raised in Montana, Waddell’s decades spent as a cattle rancher continue to inspire his vast landscapes depicting grazing livestock. The artist is an Army veteran, former art instructor, musician, children’s book author and illustrator, and active artist exhibiting nationwide. His strong ties to Montana keep him centered in the American Northwest, continuing to inform and inspire his paintings.
